Bodegas Alceño, a family tradition winery since 1870 located in the middle of Jumilla, being the oldest commercial winery in the area. Our winery now managed by the Familia Bastida group has new winemaking techniques but following the same tradition and identity
Our indigenous variety is Monastrell, which finds its habitat in this area, meeting three fundamental requirements: combination of grape variety, soil composition and climate. This contributes to the grape developing its maximum color and flavor characteristics, which is synonymous with quality.
Bodegas Alceño is in continuous growth, adapting to new quality certifications and consumer demands. Our winery as a philosophy is committed to the research and development of new winemaking techniques and is committed to protecting the environment.
Our philosophy and identity is to maintain the tradition, from the care and control in the vineyard in a sustainable way, doing carefully all the works and processes in the winery in a natural way until the final bottling of the wines.
