Inedita de Alceño 03

Monastrell of the plots Llano, Hoya de la Carrasca, Sierra del Buey, located on shady slopes on the shores of the Mediterranean mount and planted with ungrafted vines. Limestone and stony soils. At an average altitude of 750 mt. ELABORATION: Grapes were harvested in the first half of October, making a careful selection in the field. Fermentation and maceration in concrete tanks took 15 days. When alcoholic fermentation was finished, it was racked into new 300 liters American oak barrels, where malolactic fermentation took place during two months. Then the wine was racked into second-fill 300 liters American and French oak barrels for 6 months. Finally, wine was racked into 500 liters new French oak barrels and into second-fill 300 liters French and American oak barrels, staying in during 10 months. We selected the best barrels before bottling.
